Labels used in medication and healthcare industry must include the name of the products, contents, instructions and restrictions, and warnings in detail. Labels must be readable and durable during the shipment and storage of the medication. Thus, the quality of material and printing is of utmost importance. Because medication labels include health-related information directly aiming to inform the consumers, labels must be perfect and faultless. They also include a QR code and legible information with the QR code to ensure traceability of the product within.

Medications that have specific instructions such as “light-sensitive”, “refrigerated storage”, “high-risk” must be labeled with labels with special color codes.

Exterior packages and instructions of medical products must be produced within certain standards to ensure they are informative and not encouraging.
