Food Labels

Food labels are used to market and present food products.

Paper-based or plastic-based labels can be used based on various printing techniques and the material, on which the label will be applied. Selection of material in food label production must consider timing of consumption and exterior factors (weather conditions, humidity, etc.).

All required details are listed on the label, including the name of the product, table of contents, allergens or allergen aids, ingredients and amount of ingredient groups, net amount, best before date, storage conditions and/or utilization, name / title / address / registration number of manufacturer / packer / importer / distributor, country of origin, using instructions, etc. Food labels are mandatory as per food codex and various conditions are required to be able to keep and store food products under healthy conditions.
